5/8″ insulated copper pipe for air conditioners and heat pumps provides a reliable solution for refrigerant line installations in split and VRV systems. This single single copper pipe is suitable for R32, R410A and R407C refrigerants and combines flexible installation with effective thermal and condensation protection.
The pre-insulated copper tubing has a 15.88 mm outside diameter and 1 mm copper wall thickness. Manufactured from CU-DHP copper alloy, the tubing complies with EN 12735-1:2020 for round copper tubes used in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The refrigerant pipe is protected by 10 mm low-density closed-cell polyethylene foam insulation. Its high resistance to water vapour diffusion helps prevent condensation on the pipe surface when refrigerant temperatures are below ambient temperature. The embossed white PE-LD outer film provides additional mechanical protection, while the insulation is non-toxic, odourless and CFC-free.
