INABA DENKO DHV-5010 Self-Adhesive Insulation Tape 50 mm x 10 m

The DHV-5010 self-adhesive foam insulation tape provides thermal insulation and condensation control for air conditioning, refrigeration and HVAC pipework.

Made from chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam, the tape can be wrapped around pipes, fittings and irregular surfaces where standard tubular insulation is difficult to apply.

With a 3 mm thickness and 50 mm width, this flexible insulation tape is particularly useful for insulating pipe bends, valves, condensate drain lines and duct connections. It can also be applied locally to reinforce existing insulation or cover exposed sections, helping reduce heat transfer and the risk of surface condensation.

The self-adhesive backing with easy-release liner allows quick application and firm attachment. Multiple overlapping layers can be used to build up the insulation thickness where additional thermal protection is required.

APPLICATIONS

The DHV-5010 adhesive insulation tape is suitable for air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pump and HVAC installations requiring additional thermal insulation or protection against condensation.

Common applications include wrapping condensate drain pipes, refrigerant pipe fittings, duct joints, valves, elbows and pipe bends, especially in restricted spaces or around components with irregular shapes.

It can be used as a local alternative to conventional pipe insulation where tubular insulation is impractical, or applied in multiple layers to reinforce existing insulation and help prevent condensation on cold surfaces.

The flexible white polyethylene foam tape is also suitable for finishing insulation joints and covering small exposed sections of pipework while maintaining a tidy appearance.
