ArmaFlex 520 is a premium contact adhesive engineered for the installation of flexible ArmaFlex elastomeric insulation. Based on a high-performance polychloroprene formulation, it creates durable, vapour-tight bonds that help preserve the thermal efficiency and long-term reliability of HVAC and refrigeration insulation systems.
Its fast-setting properties simplify installation while providing excellent adhesion to metal surfaces and insulation materials. Designed for professional use, ArmaFlex 520 withstands demanding operating conditions with a service temperature range from -50 °C to +105 °C.
The adhesive is compatible with most flexible ArmaFlex insulation products, but should not be used with ArmaPrene, HT/ArmaFlex, ArmaFlex Ultima or EPDM-based ArmaFlex insulation, which require dedicated adhesive solutions.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS
ArmaFlex 520 is suitable for installing elastomeric insulation in HVAC, refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems. It is ideal for bonding insulation on pipes, ductwork, fittings and other components where reliable vapour-tight joints are essential for long-term system performance.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
For the best bonding results, surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease, dust and other contaminants before applying the adhesive. ArmaFlex 520 should not be used on substrates coated with asphalt, bitumen or lead-based (linseed oil) paints. As the product is highly flammable, always use it in well-ventilated areas and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
