ArmaFlex 520 is a professional-grade polychloroprene contact adhesive specially developed for bonding flexible ArmaFlex insulation materials. Its fast-drying formula provides strong, durable and vapour-tight joints, helping to maintain the long-term thermal performance and energy efficiency of insulation systems.
Designed for professional HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning applications, ArmaFlex 520 delivers excellent adhesion to metal surfaces and supports fast, reliable installation. The adhesive offers outstanding resistance to ageing and weathering, ensuring dependable performance in demanding operating conditions with service temperatures from -50 °C to +105 °C.
ArmaFlex 520 is suitable for bonding all flexible ArmaFlex insulation materials except ArmaPrene, ArmaFlex EPDM-based products, HT/ArmaFlex and ArmaFlex Ultima, which require their own dedicated adhesives.

APPLICATIONS
ArmaFlex 520 is designed for the professional installation of flexible elastomeric insulation in HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems. It is ideal for bonding insulation on pipework, ductwork, fittings and other system components, creating durable, vapour-tight joints that help maintain long-term thermal efficiency and reliable insulation performance.
Always ensure that bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or dust before applying the adhesive. Clean dirty surfaces and the ArmaFlex surface with ArmaFlex Cleaner before starting the application with the adhesive.
ArmaFlex 520 is not suitable for surfaces coated with asphalt, bitumen or lead-based (linseed oil) paints.
The product is highly flammable and should be used in well-ventilated areas while following the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
